    They are used in mines and coal separating factories to separate the wet fine magnetic materials or remove the magnetic materials from the non-magnetic materials.The separators have three types of tanks:half countercurrent tank(CTS) and countercurrent tank(CTN), which are used according to different granular and technological requirements.

Magnetic Drum Separator for Mineral Ore CTS/CTN/CTB Series:

---Suitable for iron ore, fly ash of iron power plant separator with large capacity, high recovery rate, especially for iron ore concentrate select.
---The downstream tank (Series of CTS) is applicable to rougher flotation and concentration of ore with size: 6-0 mm.
---The half upstream tank (Series of CTS) is applicable to rougher flotation and concentration of ore with size: O~0.5mm, the granularity of granule is 0.15-0.8mm.

Working principle of Iron Ore Equipment:

When the raw materials flow into the tank body of the wet drum magnetic separator, firstly, the flowing direction of the raw materials is the same as the rotary direction of the magnetic drum, the iron magnetite materials are attracted to the surface of drum. This is the first separation. In the second step, the flushing water below flush the raw materials back for the second separation. This time the flowing direction of the raw materials is opposite to the rotary direction of the magnetic drum. Then along with the rotation of drum, the iron magnetite materials on the surface of drum will finally leave the magnetic field and fall to the ore concentrate box under gravity. Also, the flushing water above helps to flush the iron magnetite into the ore concentrate box. The weak magnetic and non-magnetic materials can not be attracted and will flow to the discharge pipe for tailings.

Magnetic Drum Separator for Mineral Ore Applications:

For wet separation removing strong magnetic substances, such as magnetite, Ti magnetite, franklinite, pyrrhotite, maghemite, etc. From feebly magnetic minerals and non-magnetic materials.

Three types of tanks:

Half counter-current tank (CTB), direct flow tank (CTS) and counter+ current tank (CTN), which are used according to different granular and technological requirements.
