Working Principle: The automatic magnetic suspension concentrator mainly
consists of feeding pipe, overflow trough, separating cylinder, feeding
valve, discharging valve, control cabinet, etc.
After the pulp is fed into the ore trough from the upper part, the pulp
enters the magnetic field area in the middle and upper part of the central
tube. Under the action of fixed magnetic field, moving magnetic field and
auxiliary magnetic field, the magnetic minerals suspend in the form of a
magnetic chain, while the non-magnetic minerals such as gangue will keep
their original gravity because they are not affected by the magnetic force.
At this time, the upward water opposite to the direction of mineral
settlement is given, when the non-magnetic minerals are subjected to
settlement. When the force is less than the hydraulic force, the
non-magnetic minerals will rise and overflow from the upper part of the
equipment. When the sedimentation force of the minerals is greater than the
hydraulic force, the minerals will sink, and the minerals will be discharged
from the lower outlet of the separation equipment, thus realizing the
separation of minerals. It should be noted that in other magnetic gravity
separation, magnetic minerals sink in the form of aggregates, while in
magnetic levitation concentrator, they sink in the form of vertical magnetic
links.
