K-Na-Feldspar Iron Removal Equipment of Magnetic Separator
Potassium albite is an important raw material for glass,
ceramics and electronic industry. Iron ore, biotite, amphibole
and tourmaline in potassium albite have certain magnetism, so it
can be separated from potassium albite under the action of
external magnetic field. Generally, the magnetic properties of
these minerals in K-Na feldspar are weak, and only by using
high-intensity magnetic separation equipment can a better
separation effect be obtained.
Quartz, the main mineral in quartz sand, is a diamagnetic
material and cannot be magnetized in magnetic field. The
iron-bearing impurity minerals in quartz sand, such as hematite,
limonite, magnetite and goethite, are mostly magnetic materials,
which can be magnetized in the magnetic field. In magnetic
separation process, these iron-bearing impurity minerals in
quartz sand are removed by magnetic separation, taking advantage
of this difference in nature. The more magnetic separation
times, the better iron removal effect.
