Potassium albite is an important raw material for glass, ceramics and electronic industry. Iron ore, biotite, amphibole and tourmaline in potassium albite have certain magnetism, so it can be separated from potassium albite under the action of external magnetic field. Quartz, the main mineral in quartz sand, is a diamagnetic material and cannot be magnetized in magnetic field.
